Halo 4

I want to congratulate my friends at 343i on all the great reviews and for a phenomenal launch of Halo 4. It was a honor working with you.

Below is the bulk of my humble contribution, a fair portion of which I'm pleased to say was featured in Awakening: The Art of Halo 4. It feels great to be able to finally share it with you all.

If you're interested in hearing a little more about each piece, head on over to my tumblr and keep an eye out for updates in the coming days: http://tomscholes.tumblr.com/

Ahh spacecrates. Rather enjoyable actually.

Light Grey Art Lab Show

Was honored to be invited to participate in Light Grey Art Labs upcoming show Tarot, Mystics and the Occult Exhibition. Based off the incredible and incredibly long artist list and the pre-order preview of the limited edition Tarot deck they've shown, it looks to be an amazing showing.

Above is my version of The Tower. I know it deviates a little bit from the traditional imagery,
but I thought it would be fun to tie it into the world I'm currently creating with my personal projects.

Again, you can preorder a handsome Tarot deck with everyone's art for the show here for just $25

Very affordable prints will also be made available once the show opens, keep an eye out on their blog.

Pleased to see that Digital Painting Techniques 4 is now available for preorder and will be released on approximately the 17th of September. I've written my thoughts on art and process in an article within that you can see a few teasers of below.

Oppidum Prototype, Continued

This has been sitting on my desktop nearly complete for the last few months so I'm happy to finally have the time to call it done. It's still rough around the edges, with plenty of things I'd like to change or improve, but I'm happy with my growth and discoveries and feel it's time to invest elsewhere for the time being. Please let me know what you think !
